CM Ali Amin Gandapur Inaugurates Major Development Projects in Mardan & Swabi

Mardan (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) – Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur inaugurated multiple high-impact development projects in Mardan and Swabi, focusing on healthcare, sports, and water infrastructure.

These initiatives, worth billions of rupees, aim to improve public welfare and boost the region’s socio-economic growth.

Key Projects Inaugurated by CM Gandapur

1. Upgraded Mardan Sports Complex

The Chief Minister inaugurated:
✔ New Gymnasium – Constructed at Rs. 335 million
✔ Multi-Purpose Hall – Built for Rs. 170 million
✔ Foundation Laid for Further Upgrades – Worth Rs. 364 million

Future Upgrades Include:

  • Cricket ground & academy
  • Walking track
  • Special playground for differently-abled individuals
  • Water filtration plant

2. Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Children’s Hospital

200-bed state-of-the-art hospital was inaugurated, constructed at a cost of Rs. 2.6 billion.

  • Modern laboratory & pharmacy
  • Specialized pediatric care

This hospital will significantly improve healthcare access for women and children in Mardan.

3. Kundal Dam Sub-Projects in Swabi

The 157-feet-high dam has a live storage capacity of 10,395 acre-feet and will benefit:
✔ 40,000 farmers through improved irrigation
✔ 30,000 residents with clean drinking water
✔ 13,340 acres of agricultural land to be irrigated
