The Chief Minister House in Peshawar hosted a significant event (CM Education Endowment Fund) where scholarships from the Chief Minister Education Endowment Fund were presented to deserving students.
Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Khan Gandapur, was the chief guest at the occasion.

Scholarships Awarded to 82 Students:
During the ceremony, Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur handed out scholarship certificates to 82 students.
These scholarships are fully funded, taking care of tuition fees, accommodation, and a food allowance, allowing students to concentrate on their studies without any financial concerns.
Achievements of the Education Endowment Fund:
Since its inception, the CM Education Endowment Fund has allocated 615 million PKR to award 526 scholarships. These include:
- 366 Undergraduate Scholarships for students studying in Pakistan’s top universities.
- 150 Graduate Scholarships for Postgraduate Education.
- 10 International Graduate Scholarships for students attending prestigious universities abroad.

Chief Minister’s Address at the Ceremony:
While addressing the audience, Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur announced an important initiative aimed at enhancing education in the province:
- The endowment fund’s budget will be increased from 1.2 billion PKR to 2.4 billion PKR.
- Plans are underway to reduce tuition fees by 50% in all higher education institutions starting next financial year.
The Chief Minister also highlighted another milestone achieved by his government:
- A 2 billion PKR fund has been established to provide free education up to Grade 12 for girls and orphan children.
He highlighted the importance of investing in children’s education, saying it plays a key role in shaping their future.
“We are dedicated to allocating the utmost resources to our children’s education and ensuring their future.”
Achievements in Revenue Growth:
Ali Amin Khan Gandapur shared that the provincial government’s revenue has increased by 44% over the past eight months.
This growth, he explained, will help improve educational programs. “Our goal is to empower young people with education and skills so they can become valuable contributors to the nation,” he said.
