KP Government Approves Land for Establishing ICAP Institute in Peshawar

The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has taken an important step to help its youth by approving land for the Institute of Chartered Accountancy (ICAP) in Peshawar.

This project (ICAP Peshawar Land Approval) will give students access to quality education and career opportunities in finance and accountancy without leaving their province.

Mr. Muzammil Aslam, Advisor to the Chief Minister on Finance, shared that 5 kanals of land in Phase 7, Hayatabad, Peshawar, has been allocated for this purpose.

The land, owned by the Peshawar Development Authority (PDA), will be used to build a modern ICAP Institute.

The institute will have advanced facilities and resources to support students aiming to become skilled chartered accountants.

The ICAP administration has been instructed to start construction right away.

The new facility will boast modern infrastructure and state-of-the-art resources to uphold the highest standards of professional education.

The establishment of the ICAP Institute has been described as a “gift for the youth of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa” by Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.

Previously, students from the province had to travel to other regions or Islamabad to pursue Chartered Accountancy (CA) education.

Mr. Muzammil Aslam highlighted that “no previous administration had ever provided land for the establishment of such an institute in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
